FRITZ!NAS displays macOS management files (e.g. .DS_Store)
macOS management files are displayed in FRITZ!NAS (http://fritz.nas). Such files include .DS_Store files and files with names that begin with "._". These files are not displayed when you use the Finder to access the storage.
- Apple macOS automatically creates a management file for every file. It contains information necessary to display the file in the Finder (for example position and size of window). In addition, a .DS_Store file is created in every folder. By default, the macOS Finder does not display these management files. However, computers with Windows 10 or different operating systems and NAS systems such as the FRITZ!Box display these management files.
