FRITZ!Box 7340 Service

Configuring a network adapter to access the user interface with "emergency IP address"

When using the FRITZ!Box as an "IP client" or a "wireless repeater", you can no longer enter fritz.box to open the user interface; instead, you can only use the IP address manually assigned to the FRITZ!Box. If you have forgotten the IP address, you can use the "emergency IP address" 169.254.1.1 to open the user interface.

If the user interface does not open when you enter the "emergency IP address", you must change the IP settings of the network adapter connected to the FRITZ!Box.
